Jessica Zhang, PhD, is a Senior Associate on the Private Equity team at OrbiMed, a role she has held since 2022, based in New York. Prior to OrbiMed, she was an Associate at 6 Dimensions Capital, where she worked on early-stage biotech investment and company incubation, focusing on Pharmaceuticals, BioTech, Manufacturing, Health & Hospital Services, and Therapeutics at pre-seed and seed stages, with checks between $100K and $5.0M. Before venture capital, she was a Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she helped develop a second-generation CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing platform.
