Jeremy Simmons is Managing Director, Direct Originations at Monroe Capital, where he leads sourcing and structuring of new deals from the Chicago office. He focuses on providing $2.0M to $15.0M of financing to middle-market companies in sectors including education, energy, travel, manufacturing, retail, fintech and healthcare IT/digital health, generally at later seed through growth and expansion stages. His background spans investment banking, business brokerage and private equity-style dealmaking, including serving as a Managing Director at Allied Business Group before joining Monroe in 2014. He holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from Missouri Western State University and an MBA from the University of Kansas, and has built a track record in originating and executing sponsor-backed and founder-owned transactions.
