About Investor

Jennifer Place currently works at Munich Re Ventures, the strategic venture capital arm of Munich Re, based in San Francisco. She previously spent three years as Principal on the Climate Technology Investment team at Fifth Wall (2022-2025), where she focused on investments decarbonizing the built world, including nZero and RoadRunner Recycling, and served on the boards of nZero, RoadRunner, EcoCart, and Impulse Labs. Before Fifth Wall, she was Investment Director at Finistere Ventures (2018-2022), focused on agriculture and food technology, and began her career as an Investment Associate at Energy Capital Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse. She holds a degree in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University.
