Jeffrey Paine is co-founder and managing partner of Golden Gate Ventures, an early-stage technology venture capital firm based in Singapore and focused on Southeast Asia. The firm says it has more than US$300 million under management and has invested in more than 75 companies since 2012. Paine is widely known as a startup ecosystem builder in Asia, and his background spans entrepreneurial work across Silicon Valley, Dubai, and Asia. He also built and managed the Founder Institute in Singapore and helped expand it across Southeast Asia and Japan.
