Jeff Wesley is Executive Director of Ventures at the Michigan State University Research Foundation, where he oversees Red Cedar Ventures and related venture programs. Through Red Cedar Ventures he backs pre-seed and seed stage companies in sectors such as insurance, manufacturing, health IT, and health services, typically with initial investments in the $50K - $500K range. Previously he was CEO and earlier CFO of Two Men and a Truck, and before that president of Accu-Bite Dental Supply and an audit manager at Deloitte, giving him decades of operating experience scaling businesses prior to leading one of the Midwest’s most active early-stage venture platforms.
