Jeff Otis is an Operating Partner in the Portfolio Group at Bain Capital, based in Boston, and a member of the North America Private Equity team. He is involved in value-creation work across Bain Capital’s consumer and ecommerce portfolio, typically in mid- to large-scale private equity transactions with equity checks in the $1M–$100.0M range. Before joining Bain Capital in 2019, he was a General Manager at Under Armour, overseeing the third-party ecommerce business after serving in several strategy roles at the company. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group in the Consumer practice and, before entering business, spent several years as an NFL quarterback, primarily with the Oakland Raiders. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School and a BA in economics from Columbia University.
