Jeff Crusey is a first-check deep tech investor and company builder based in London, currently serving as General Partner at IceNine, General Partner/Venture Partner at 7percent Ventures (London-based early-stage VC investing in transformative technologies across aerospace & defense, climate & energy, cybersecurity, and advanced computing), and EVP of Technology & Acquisition at Blacklake (a national security-focused holding company, Austin TX, that builds companies solving foundational national security challenges and helps emerging defense companies accelerate across US government procurement into Europe and Asia-Pacific). His investment portfolio includes True Anomaly ($130M raised, space domain awareness), Castelion ($89M raised, hypersonic missiles), Zephr ($15M raised), Danti ($8M raised, geospatial AI), Epsilon3, and Haxion. With nearly 20 years as a venture investor, he previously served as Principal at DTE Energy Ventures (2006-2008) and held roles at Per Aspera and Seasats. He holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School).
