About Investor
Jason Freedman is General Partner at Orange Collective, a role he has held since January 2023, focusing on pre-Demo Day investments in Y Combinator startups, emerging from a network of over 150 YC alumni committed to restoring the accelerator's original "paying it back" ethos. He previously led the PropTech venture platform at Peak State Ventures, investing in companies including Sonder, B8ta, Brilliant, Snapdocs, Fieldwire, Mighty, and Ironclad, and serves on the board of Mosaic. He has run four startups with three exits, including FlightCaster (one of the earliest Y Combinator batches), RedisToGO, and 42Floors, which sold to Knotel in 2018, where he then served as CTO. He is a 2x alumnus of Y Combinator and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
