Jasmina Marjanovic is currently External Partnering, Catalyze 360 at Eli Lilly and Company, based in Boston, Massachusetts, a role she began within the last few months. She previously spent time as a Partner at Takeda Ventures, and before that as Director at AbbVie Ventures, the corporate venture arm of AbbVie, where her investing focused on early-stage therapeutics in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, eye care, and other high-need indications, typically backing seed and Series A biotech companies with checks in the $100K-$5.0M range. While at AbbVie Ventures, she represented the fund on the board of Mozart Therapeutics. A trained chemist, she spent over a decade in pharma and academic research, including on AbbVie's Search and Evaluation team sourcing partnerships across the drug-development lifecycle, and earlier post-doctoral training at Harvard University after receiving her PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Chicago.
