Jasmina Marjanovic is a Director at AbbVie Ventures, the corporate venture arm of AbbVie, where she is based in the Boston/Cambridge office. Her investing focuses on early-stage therapeutics in areas such as oncology, immunology, neuroscience, eye care and other high-need indications, typically backing seed and Series A biotech companies with checks in the $100K–$5.0M range. AbbVie Ventures generally targets novel, transformational therapeutics at discovery and preclinical stages, and she also represents the fund on boards such as Mozart Therapeutics. A trained chemist, she spent over a decade in pharma and academic research and previously worked on AbbVie’s Search and Evaluation team sourcing partnerships across the drug-development lifecycle.
