Jarret Glasscock is a Senior Venture Partner - Healthcare/Biotech at Pioneer Fund, targeting seed, Series A, and Series B investments in BioTech, Health IT, Diagnostics, Digital Health, and Health & Hospital Services, with checks typically between $200K and $300K. He is Founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer of Cofactor Genomics, an RNA diagnostics company he co-founded in 2008 with Matt Hickenbotham and Ryan Richt, having stepped back from CEO to this role in January 2025 as Chris Parker took over as CEO. A geneticist and computer scientist, he spent 10 years working on the Human Genome Project and holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics/Computational Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Biology and Computer Science from the University of Arizona. He has served on the Industry Advisory Board for Saint Louis University's Bioinformatics and Computational Biology program since 2014.
