Jamie Melzer is Founder and Managing Partner at Altra Venture Partners (formerly HF Scale, affiliated with Hustle Fund), a growth and late-stage opportunistic investment platform investing in Series B through pre-IPO venture-backed technology companies, 2 to 5 years before an expected exit, including secondary transactions and LP buyouts. Notable investments include Anduril, Anthropic, Canva, CoreWeave, Databricks, and Webflow. She has deployed over $50M since 2021, focused on democratizing access to capital. Before founding the platform, she was a sector analyst at Brigade Capital Management, deploying approximately $2B across hedge fund and opportunistic strategies, and an Institutional Investor-ranked high-yield research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She also founded Watermelon Road, an award-winning plant-based snack food company, which was acquired in 2020. She holds a BS in Finance from the University of Kansas. She is based in New York City.
