Jack Statza is a Partner at Alumni Ventures, where he helps lead the AI First Fund and the Blockchain & Fintech Fund. He is a multi-stage deep-tech investor who typically invests from $50K up to $10.0M, writing initial checks as early as Seed and continuing through later growth rounds, with a focus on AI, blockchain, fintech, and other frontier technologies. Before Alumni Ventures he led AI, blockchain, and fintech investments at Allstate Strategic Ventures, and previously worked in M&A advisory at Lazard and Livingstone after starting his career at Northern Trust pricing venture portfolios. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth, a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and is a CFA charterholder.
