Ingrid Hammond is an Operating Partner (and longtime vice president–level investor) in Bain Capital’s Portfolio Group, focused on North American private equity out of Boston. She invests alongside Bain’s flagship buyout funds across sectors such as financial services, fintech, insurance, and real estate/proptech, typically at Series A, Series B and growth/PE stages, with deal sizes often in the $1M–$100M range for direct or co-invest positions. Her work emphasizes value-creation in portfolio companies, combining strategic initiatives with hands-on operational support. Ingrid joined Bain Capital in 2014 after working as a consultant and principal at Boston Consulting Group, and she holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
