Ian Bel is managing principal and chief executive officer at Olive Tree Holdings, where he also oversees Olive Tree Ventures, the PropTech venture investment arm of the firm. Olive Tree Ventures was formed in 2021 to invest in built-world technologies. Bel’s background is in real estate investing and operations, and under his leadership Olive Tree has acquired and transformed more than 16,000 units of workforce and affordable housing across nine states. Before Olive Tree, he was a principal at One Wall Partners and earlier worked at Duval and Stachenfeld and Intersection Partners.
