Hugo Vaux serves as Chief Operating Officer and Fund Manager at Guinness Ventures in London, where he focuses on London-based, generalist, Series A, scale-up investments with EIS/VCT funding, with typical investment ranges between $500K - $5.0M. Hugo joined Guinness Global Investors in 2012 and holds an MSc in Finance and Investment and a BA in Economics, bringing extensive experience in early-stage investment to his role. Guinness Ventures has a strong legacy of early-stage investment, having invested over £320m to-date in businesses that qualified for VCT relief, with a focus on providing scale-up capital to exciting British companies across various sectors. Hugo plays a key role in identifying and supporting growth companies with proven technology, service or product and more than £1 million of revenue.
