Ginger Rothrock is Managing Director at HG Ventures, the corporate venture arm of The Heritage Group, promoted from Senior Investment Director in December 2025 for her leadership role in building the HG Ventures platform. She focuses on hardtech investments in advanced materials, infrastructure, environmental solutions, and industrial systems, with typical investment ranges between $1M and $9.0M. She leverages her experience as a scientist-entrepreneur and Kauffman Fellow to bridge technical credibility with business intelligence, having previously served as Vice President of Technology and Commercialization at RTI International, where she oversaw the commercialization of a $1 billion R&D portfolio. She co-founded biopharmaceutical company Liquidia Technologies during her doctoral studies. She holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and sits on the board of Pretred.
