Gaurav Gupta is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners in Menlo Park, where he focuses on enterprise software and AI. He backs seed through Series B companies in developer tools, data platforms, security, AI (including generative AI), marketplaces and SaaS, typically within a $3.0M–$20.0M investment range. Before joining Lightspeed, he held senior product leadership roles at Elastic and Splunk, giving him deep operating experience in building and scaling enterprise software products. His earlier career also includes time in consulting and other product roles, which informs a strongly product-centric approach to investing.
