Gary Saykaly is a Managing Director in investment banking at Carofin and Carolina Financial Group, where he leads commercial real estate capital-raising efforts while also acting as a private investor. As an investor, he focuses on food and beverage, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and direct-to-consumer brands at Series A and B growth stages, with an investment range of roughly $10.0M to $500.0M and a stated sweet spot around $20.0M. His background spans more than two decades and includes roles as a senior director building a retail investment sales platform at Franklin Street, industrial and logistics advisory at CBRE, and leading a trucking and freight derivatives practice at Lakefront Futures. Earlier in his career he worked in joint-venture and capital-markets advisory roles in commercial real estate, including leadership positions at BridgePointe Advisors and other firms. He holds a finance degree from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA in corporate finance from Bentley’s graduate business school.
