Gary Beasley is the co-founder and CEO of Roofstock, a technology-enabled marketplace for single-family rental investments, and he is also listed as an angel investor associated with Roofstock. He typically backs pre-seed and seed companies in lodging and hospitality, real estate and proptech, IoT, and fintech, with an investment range of $100K to $5.0M and a stated sweet spot around $1.5M. Prior to Roofstock he was co-CEO of Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust and earlier CFO, then president, of ZipRealty, where he led the company through its IPO, after which he continued to pioneer institutional single-family rental platforms including Waypoint Homes.
