Frederik Groce is Deal Lead at Wellington Access Ventures (WAV), Wellington Management's early-stage venture platform investing in companies led by historically underinvested and overlooked founders. He previously spent five years as a Partner at Storm Ventures, an early-stage B2B-focused fund in Palo Alto, where he invested across GovTech, Security, AI, Health IT, Enterprise, and SaaS at seed and Series A. Before Storm, he was CEO of Stanford Student Enterprises. In 2018, he co-founded BLCK VC alongside Sydney Sykes, a nonprofit connecting, engaging, and advancing Black venture investors, where he continues to serve as Board Co-Chair. He holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University. He is based in Bellevue, Washington.
