Frank Tanner is Director of Private Assets at Morgan Creek Capital Management, where he helps lead the firm’s private investments platform from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. His investing activity spans fund commitments and co-investments across sectors such as AI and analytics, cloud infrastructure, IoT, cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS and consumer internet, generally at seed through Series B stages with check sizes in the roughly $100K to $5.0M range. He joined Morgan Creek in 2013 and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring private equity, venture capital and real asset managers and deals. Previously, he was a corporate officer at WestEnd Advisors and co-founded Finslate, LLC, and he holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as CFA and CAIA designations.
