Francois Lafortune is the Co-Founder and CEO of Diagram, based in Westmount, Canada. He leads the overall strategy and direction of the firm, focusing on fintech, insurance, SaaS, enterprise, climate tech, and healthcare innovation. He invests across pre-seed, seed, and early Series A stages, supporting companies from formation to scaling. His role involves building and shaping new venture creation alongside institutional capital. Francois is actively involved in identifying structural opportunities in complex industries such as insurance and financial services. He works closely with founders to support long-term company building rather than short-term growth. His leadership is central to Diagram’s thesis-driven venture creation approach.
