Francisco Sáenz Rica is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Magma Partners and is based in Mexico City, Mexico. He focuses on marketplace and FinTech companies from the Pre-seed stage through Series A. His investment work centers on founders developing digital platforms that connect market participants and financial technologies that improve access, payments, and financial operations. Francisco generally invests between $25K and $5M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $1M. As a lead investor, he plays an active role in company selection, financing decisions, transaction structuring, and portfolio strategy. At Magma Partners, he supports Latin American technology founders as they scale their businesses and expand across regional and international markets.
