Feng Tao is Co-Founding Partner at BioTrack Capital (博远资本 / Boyuan Capital), a Shanghai-based healthcare venture capital firm he co-founded in 2017 alongside Kevin (Penghui) Chen, focused on investing and incubating innovative life science companies in China — spanning biotech, medtech, and healthcare business models led by outstanding entrepreneurs. The firm builds a unique ecosystem of leading listed healthcare companies and prominent healthcare KOLs as investors and advisors. Portfolio investments include Minghui Pharmaceutical, NuProbe (Houston), PAQ Therapeutics (Cambridge, MA), and Sirius Therapeutics (San Diego). Feng brings 18+ years of experience in the healthcare industry: he spent many years at Fosun Pharma in roles including Assistant President and General Manager of the Investment Department, Deputy General Manager of Strategic Development, Assistant to the Chairman, and Strategy Development Director and Investment Manager; prior to Fosun, he was Division Deputy General Manager of Medicine Distribution and General Manager of Worldbest Pharmacies at China Resource Group. He holds an MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) and a Bachelor's in Economics from Fudan University, and also attended CEIBS (2010-2011).
