Fabian Heilemann is Co-Founder and CEO of AENU, a €170M Article 9 impact tech fund he co-founded with his brother Ferry Heilemann in early 2022 after leaving Earlybird Venture Capital, where he had spent nearly a decade as a General Partner managing 45+ early-stage investments including N26. AENU invests €500K–€5M at Seed and Series A in climate tech and social impact startups targeting gigaton-scale decarbonization — with a focus on energy transition and carbon removal — across Europe and the US. Fabian is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded digital logistics unicorn Forto (>$2B valuation), DailyDeal (acquired by Google for ~$114M in 2011), and Leaders for Climate Action (LFCA), the largest entrepreneurial climate community in the EU. He holds an LL.B. from Bucerius Law School, a visiting PhD candidacy, and attended Stanford Graduate School of Business.
