Fabian Hansen is the Founder and Managing Director of Presight Capital, a U.S.-based venture fund he co-founded to invest several hundred million dollars globally across biotech, healthtech, fintech and deeptech, and he is now largely based in the U.S. and Los Angeles. He typically writes checks of $500K to $20.0M, backing Seed to Series B companies in areas such as biotech, therapeutics, health IT, healthcare services, consumer health and fintech, often leading or co-leading rounds. Hansen has been working in venture capital since around 2013 and was an early investor in category-defining companies such as AbCellera, Razor Group, ATAI Life Sciences, Compass Pathways and others, and he holds a degree from the London School of Economics.
