Eric Miller is Co-Owner and Principal at Phoenix Analysis & Design Technologies (PADT) and an angel investor with Arizona Tech Investors. As an investor, he typically writes $5K–$25K checks into very early-stage material science, hardware, medical devices, energy, deeptech and climate/space-related startups at pre-seed and seed. He is a mechanical engineer who co-founded PADT in 1994, building it into a prominent engineering, simulation and 3D-printing company, and he is deeply involved in the Arizona startup ecosystem through boards, mentoring and innovation organizations such as AZBio.
