Emma Silverman is a Partner at TMV, where she invests in early-stage startups with a focus on the “Future of Care” across healthcare and the care economy, as well as future of work, education, fintech, logistics and sustainability. She typically backs Seed and Series A companies in the U.S. and EMEA, with check sizes from about $100K up to $5M. Within those themes, she gravitates toward technology that expands access to care, improves the experience of healthcare workers, and rethinks core consumer and services infrastructure. Before becoming a partner (and previously Principal) at TMV, she was Chief of Staff at coffee-automation startup Truebird, led consumer insights and product innovation at personal care brand Flamingo, and started her career as a consultant at Bain & Company.
