About Investor

Emily Melton is Managing Partner and co-founder of Threshold Ventures in Portola Valley, California, where she leads Series A and Series B investments in Consumer Health, Digital Health, Health IT, and Enterprise software. She most recently led Threshold’s Series B investment in Freshpaint, a healthcare data compliance platform. Early in her career, Emily sourced investments in Box, Meebo, and other early-stage companies, and she served as chair of the National Venture Capital Association’s board while also co-founding the nonprofit All Raise. A Stanford graduate with a BA in political philosophy and an MBA, she is drawn to disruptive technologies that can radically improve consumer and healthcare markets.
