Emily McMahan is General Partner and Co-Founder at AIN Ventures, where she invests in early-stage companies at the intersection of deep tech and dual-use technology, as well as military veteran-led startups. Recent coverage describes AIN as investing in pre-seed and seed dual-use deep technology, with focus areas including space technology, life sciences, sustainability tech, disaster technology, civic technology, and defense technology. Before co-founding AIN, McMahan served as a U.S. Army military police officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and she later built Academy Investor Network alongside Sherman Williams.
