Emily Baum is Program Director for Project W at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in New York, where she designs and runs programs that connect investors, advisors and underrepresented founders. As an angel and NYU Innovation Venture Fund–affiliated investor, she typically participates in $50K to $500K pre-seed and seed rounds across govtech, AR/VR, advertising, impact, analytics, media/content, data services, web3/blockchain, consumer health and consumer internet. Her background includes founding her own startup and extensive work as an advocate for early-stage entrepreneurs, frequently writing and speaking on topics such as bias in fundraising and support for women-owned businesses.
