Ellen DaSilva is the founder and CEO of Summer Health, a pediatric telehealth startup, and also an active Sequoia Capital Scout based in New York. As a scout, she backs pre-seed and seed-stage companies in categories such as govtech, local services, media/content, consumer health, social networks, marketplaces, future of work and broader consumer internet, generally writing checks between $5K and $50K. Her investment activity is oriented around consumer products and services that reshape how people access healthcare, work and everyday services. Before founding Summer Health, she led business development at Hims & Hers, and previously worked in business development and partnerships roles at Twitter and in finance earlier in her career.
