Douglas J. Roth is a Managing Director, Investments at Connecticut Innovations, based in Hartford. His investing centers on early-stage technology companies in areas such as analytics, cloud infrastructure, data services, social commerce, e-commerce, IoT, AI, health IT and enterprise software, typically with $150K to $7.0M checks from seed through Series A. In addition to sourcing and managing investments, he represents CI on several boards and serves as an advisor and judge for fintech and startup programs. Prior to joining Connecticut Innovations, he spent more than 20 years in financial services and technology, including senior roles at GE Capital and on Wall Street.
