Dimitris Iacovides is Principal at Big Pi Ventures in Athens, a deep-tech-focused venture firm backing Greek and regional founders. His investment range is $100K–$5.0M, with a sweet spot around $1.5M, investing primarily at seed stage across material science, hardware, media/content, analytics, IoT, deeptech and health & hospital services. His work centers on supporting research-driven and IP-heavy companies coming out of Greek universities, research centers and tech companies as they commercialize globally. Prior to Big Pi he accumulated experience across technology, venture and analytics roles (public details focus mainly on his current investing position rather than earlier employers).
