David Williams serves as Managing Partner at 2020 Ventures, focusing on investments in local services, fashion, games, social commerce, retail, social networks, e-commerce, and FinTech sectors. He typically invests at the pre-seed and seed stages with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area. Williams is the owner and Managing General Partner of 2020 Ventures, which he founded in 2010. He has also served as Managing Partner at Alacon Ventures and Partner & Co-founder of Mandarin Ventures. His extensive background includes leadership roles at various technology and media companies, including Excite@Home, Powerhouse Entertainment, and Micrografx. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
