David Gross-Loh is a Managing Director and Managing Partner for Asia at Bain Capital, where he oversees the firm’s private equity activity across the region. He invests primarily in buyouts and growth-equity transactions across consumer, services, technology and industrial sectors, with an investment range of $100K–$5.0M on venture-style allocations alongside much larger PE checks. His track record includes leading some of Asia’s largest private equity deals, such as the acquisition of Toshiba’s memory chip business and major consumer-service platforms in Japan. Earlier in his career he worked as a consultant at Bain & Company before transitioning to dealmaking within Bain Capital’s global private equity platform.
