David Cowan is a Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and one of the firm’s best-known early-stage investors. Bessemer says he launched its practices in cloud, cybersecurity, consumer internet, gaming, space, and quantum computing, and his own profile notes a history of backing Seed, Series A, and Series B companies that later reached the public markets. Cowan previously co-founded three cybersecurity companies, including VeriSign, where he served as founding chairman and CFO.
