David Citron is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at TBD VC (To Be Determined Venture Capital), a $35M early-stage fund launched in April 2025 focused on Israeli deep tech founders at pre-seed and seed stages, globally. Co-founded with New York-based Alan Buch, TBD leads pre-seed rounds with ~$1M checks across enterprise AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software-enabled defense tech, targeting ~20 companies per fund. TBD also runs a global Venture Partner program with senior operators from GitHub, Netflix, American Express, Epic Games, Atlassian, and Twilio. David is also the sole remaining Managing Partner at Sheva VC, a $50M Israeli early-stage fund he co-founded in 2022 with former NBA player Omri Casspi, which remains active managing its portfolio. David has over a decade of VC experience, previously as a Partner at Global Founders Capital (2019–2021) and Principal at Flint Capital (2016–2019). Notable investments include CyberX (acquired by Microsoft), Flow Security (acquired by CrowdStrike), Voca.ai (acquired by Snap), Upwind, Cyolo, Eon.io, and Kahoona. He served 200 days as a combat paramedic in the IDF's 401st Armored Brigade following October 7, 2023. He holds a degree from IPADE Business School.
