David Cheng is General Partner at Costanoa Ventures, focused on early-stage companies in Vertical AI, based in Palo Alto, California. He previously co-founded and served as General Partner of Coreline Ventures, a firm he helped spin out of DCM, and before that spent ten years at DCM, joining as an Associate in 2014 and becoming the youngest Partner in the firm's 30-year history in 2023. While at DCM, he partnered with companies including Bill.com, Brigit, EvenUp, LARQ, Musical.ly, Plenty, SoFi, Tempo, and Weekend Health, and was named to the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from New York University.
