Dave Fontenot is a General Partner at HF0, where he focuses on investments in Developer Tools, Web3/Blockchain, AI, Enterprise Infrastructure, Generative Tech/AI, SaaS, and Consumer Internet companies at Seed and Series A stages with a fixed investment amount of $500K. Fontenot is known for founding the largest student-run hackathon in the world (MHacks) and currently runs HF0 Residency, a program supporting repeat founders in San Francisco. He previously co-founded Backend Capital with Lucy Guo, leading over 50 investments. Fontenot is based in San Francisco, California where he actively supports founders in building innovative technology companies.
