Daniel Gwak is an advisor to Point72 Ventures focused on defense tech and was previously a Managing Partner at Point72 Private Investments, the institutional private investing business of Point72 Asset Management. Point72 Ventures typically invests between $200K and $15.0M across Seed, Series A, and Series B+ stages in sectors including Local Services, Analytics, Security, Data Services, AI, and Enterprise. Daniel held positions at In-Q-Tel (the strategic investment firm of the CIA and U.S. Intelligence Community), Credit Suisse, and The Carlyle Group, and served as a fireteam leader in the United States Marine Corps where he was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon and Purple Heart for actions in Afghanistan.
