Daniel Eichner is Managing Director and head of Strategy & Client Solutions at Community Investment Management (CIM), a private credit investment manager focused on addressing credit gaps for small businesses and consumers across North America and emerging markets, and serves on CIM's Investment Committee. He previously spent time as the Partner in charge of Capital Development at SOSV, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on deep tech and climate tech, responsible for raising capital for SOSV funds and connecting portfolio companies to a global syndicate of investors. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Managing Director at Serengeti Asset Management and held business development, fund marketing, and investor relations roles at Marlette Funding and Garrison Investment Group, raising over $4 billion in capital across these roles. He began his career in buy-side investment research at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President in the Special Situations Investing Group, and at Ermitage.
