Dan Preiss is a Partner at Ardent Venture Partners, where he focuses on investments in Developer Tools, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Real Estate/PropTech, Future of Work, Gig Economy, Enterprise Applications, Marketplaces, SaaS, and FinTech companies from Pre-seed through Series A stages with an investment range of $250K - $5.0M. Preiss was previously a founder and has held product and growth roles at various VC-backed SaaS and consumer startups in Washington, DC and San Francisco. He also spent time at Boston Consulting Group in their corporate ventures incubator focused on fintech. Preiss earned his degree in International Business & Economics from George Washington University and is based in Washington, D.C. where he supports Ardent's investments in AI-native applications, vertical SaaS, and B2B fintech companies.
