Dan Kingston is a Managing Director of Investments at Morgan Creek Capital Management. His work is institutional and multi-asset by design: he evaluates investments and external managers across public markets and alternatives, including private equity and venture capital, rather than concentrating on one startup stage. Before Morgan Creek, he ran portfolio management and allocation work at Vulcan Capital, and earlier served as CIO for the Kauffman Foundation and held senior investing roles tied to large endowment-style portfolios. In other words, his “stage” lens is the whole capital stack, from liquid to long-duration private bets.
