Dan Abelon is a partner at Two Sigma Ventures, where he focuses on data-driven enterprise and consumer startups. Two Sigma Ventures says it invests early from seed to Series B, and Signal lists Abelon’s investment range at $250K to $10.0M. Before joining Two Sigma in 2015, Abelon was an entrepreneur and investor in areas including data science, healthcare IT, and IoT, and he previously co-founded SpeedDate, which was acquired by IAC after scaling to 23 million members. Earlier in his career, he worked at IBM, Lazard’s Technology M&A Group, and the World Bank in the Philippines.
