Dafna Winocur Biran is the Israel-based Partner at Joule Ventures, where she sources and supports pre-seed and seed investments in enterprise, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, and fintech companies, with first checks typically ranging from $1M to $3M. She brings over 15 years of venture experience, including a principal role at 83North (formerly Greylock IL) and as head of the Israel investment division at Silicon Valley fund Innovation Endeavors. Earlier in her career, she served as a Product Manager at Eastman Kodak across European, Asian, and North American divisions, and before that became the first woman in Israel Defense Forces history to be appointed Team Commander in the anti-aircraft commanders course. She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
