Colin Motley is a Managing Director in the Technology vertical at Bain Capital Private Equity and a member of the North America Private Equity team. He focuses on infrastructure software, financial technology and broader financial services businesses, typically investing from Series A through late-stage growth with check sizes between $1M and $100.0M, and a reported sweet spot around $25.0M. His deal experience includes CentralSquare Technologies, Nutanix, Rocket Software, BMC and Symantec, reflecting a focus on mission-critical enterprise platforms. He previously worked in investing and consulting roles, and holds an AB in economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was both a Baker Scholar and Henry Ford II Scholar.
