Christian Schulte is Managing Director at coparion, a Cologne-based venture fund backed by KfW and the European Investment Bank. He invests mainly in German and European Seed and Series A startups across sectors such as marketing tech, gaming, social networks, consumer internet, and biotech, typically writing checks between $560K and $18.0M. His background spans founding two startups, working as a management consultant, serving as Head of Strategy at DEXIA’s German subsidiary, and later as Managing Director of finance and business development at mobile startup Blue Lion / qeep. He holds a business administration degree from WHU, with additional studies at Penn State and EDHEC.
