Chris Cowart is a Venture Partner at Montage Ventures, where he focuses on investments in Travel, Social Networks, Marketplaces, and SaaS companies at Seed stage with an investment range of $250K - $4.0M. Cowart has over 25 years of experience as a user experience, design, and product executive, having worked across brands, innovation consulting, and venture communities. He currently serves as Managing Director for the Nomura-SRI Innovation Center at SRI International and previously held roles including Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer at Treasure8 and spent 14 years at IDEO pioneering human factors and user research disciplines. Cowart holds a Master's Degree in Business and Management from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University.
