Charlie Travers is Head of Investments and Principal (Partner) at Angel Ventures in Mexico City, leading the firm’s investment division across Mexico and Latin America. He invests mainly in pre-seed and seed through Series A rounds in retail, transportation tech, food and beverage, logistics, real estate/proptech, consumer internet, SaaS and fintech, with a verified investment range of $250K to $3.0M and a sweet spot around $1.5M. His background includes over a decade at Angel Ventures progressing from analyst to Head of Investments, founding the impact-oriented apparel venture Because | Ropa con Voz, and earlier roles in sustainable development projects with UNORCID and Sustainable Management Group, supported by graduate training in development economics at Sciences Po and a BA from McGill University.
